ATIS.cloud workflow

The realization of a construction, renovation or redevelopment project of an industrial site or an architectural structure is today facilitated and accelerated thanks to the use of new advanced technologies. Let's discover how the ATIS.cloud platform and its workflow work.

Step 1: The first stage of the ATIS.cloud workflow is the 3D statement of the "such as built" site thanks to the use of fixed, mobile or drones laser scanners (lasergrammetry and photogrammetry). These technologies make it possible to scan the environment precisely by reducing measuring errors, the time of the statement and the workforce used to collect the information of the site. The use of these powerful technologies is beneficial to centralize a maximum of data by bypassing the natural and artificial obstacles which can slow down the identification of all parts of the structure.

Step 2: At the end of the site's 3D statement, the scanner digitizes the data collected to deliver them in the form of points clouds. These points clouds are imported into scanning software such as register 360, compatible with the ATIS.cloud platform for the visualization of 360 images, in order to be assembled and form only one (click here to see The article concerning the assembly of points clouds).

Step 3: The point cloud obtained is integrated into the ATIS.cloud. ATIS.cloud is a SaaS collaborative web platform, dedicated to the treatment, exploitation and sharing of points clouds. This web application provides users with advanced tools and features developed to analyze their points clouds and accelerate the subsequent stages of carrying out a project. It is quite possible to import 2D/3D models in multiple formats (IFC, OBJ, FBX, STEP and many others) in a point cloud in order to model and create a 3D model. The points clouds as well as the documentation provided serve as a support to create a 3D model by slowing up the potential modeling errors as much as possible. This cloud solution is designed to optimize collaboration and 3D data sharing between the various stakeholders in a project. Several workstations are capable of connecting to visualize, exploit and share information concerning the clouds of 3D points and models, depending on the roles administered to them.

Step 4: the clouds of light points , thanks to the scoring and export tools, and exploited on ATIS.cloud can be exported to CAD software, used to speed up the modeling phases. The web platform allows you to export in several formats compatible with CAO software.

The use of an online solution as it is in a perfectly en bim (building information. Modeling), respecting 5 dimensions: 3D data collection as well as the exploitation and sharing of these but also the temporal and financial dimensions. Indeed, the Cloud to BIM approach optimizes the visualization of a project by the entire work team. It also makes it possible to reduce the costs generated by carrying out the project or to anticipate them to reduce them and improve time management.

customer testimonies   Archistream - Tim

“I used to send hard drives containing my points clouds for my tenders (AO). From now on, I use ATIS.cloud to share my data using a simple email address. "

aqs Construction - Henry

" L ' Set of our BIM division collaborates daily on many projects via ATIS.cloud. "

Elivea - Tom

" thanks to ATIS.cloud, Our teams were able to better visualize, understand and collaborate on our future location projects. "

Customer case - Iscan

iscan is a 3D laser and photogrammetry provider in Quebec, In business on the Réity market has been capturing for over 10 years. They make models in Revit, 2D and monitoring deformities.

Richard Lapointe - founder, Iscan : “We were looking for an affordable and functional diffusion tool, visualization , exchange of point clouds for the web and we opted for ATIS.cloud which is an innovative and functional platform. "

they use ATIS.cloud for:

  • Organize immersive meetings thanks to the functionalities of virtual meetings
  • Download data selected according to their points in density of points
  • Share information with their internal as external partners
